The Full Story
Attaboy Farm is more than a business — it is the realization of a dream that has been over 20 years in the making.
My journey with animals began long before Attaboy Farm was ever an idea. As a teenager, I worked at a local kennel, where I first learned the importance of structure, safety, and attentive care. I have owned dogs my entire life and have cared for a wide variety of animals including cats, ferrets, birds, leopard geckos, rabbits, chickens, and giant breeds like Great Danes. Over the years, I have trained therapy dogs to visit the elderly, personally trained two service dogs, and remained deeply involved in rescue and rehabilitation work for unwanted dogs.
My professional path also led me to own and operate a successful mobile grooming business, where I built lasting relationships with both pets and their families. Grooming taught me that trust is earned through patience, consistency, and genuine compassion.
For the past 14 years, I have served as a County Paramedic in a 911 capacity. Working on the front lines of emergency medicine has shaped who I am — calm under pressure, detail-oriented, and committed to doing what is right when it matters most. My experience in emergency care, combined with K-9 casualty training and American Red Cross canine CPR certification, brings an added layer of preparedness and peace of mind to every pet entrusted to me.
I am incredibly proud to stand alongside and support the first-responder community. The values of service, loyalty, and dedication run deep in my life — both in medicine and in animal care.
Attaboy Farm represents the place where my lifelong love of animals and my career in public service finally come together. After two decades of dreaming, planning, learning, and serving others, this farm was built to be a safe, peaceful, family-centered space where pets are cared for with both heart and skill.
Every animal who comes here is treated as if they were my own — because to me, this isn’t just boarding. It’s a calling.
